DETERMINATION poem

 

thoughts

Fear not the sadness 

that might drive you to madness; 

heed not society nor the public 

who dare to advise— 

that way lies a big mess.

Make up your mind 

to determine your destination 

with clear manifestation, 

and not with frustration.

Though your goal 

looks distant and far, 

it will then be very near— 

not like an illusion, 

but surely a vision.

May the heavens' blessings 

be showered upon you; 

may the Almighty's strength 

be poured into you. 

May you progress in your journey 

throughout your life, 

moving ever forward, 

but only through the fair 

and honest efforts of your own.

ದೃಢ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ

ಮನವನು ಉನ್ಮಾದಕೆ ತಳ್ಳುವ ದುಃಖಕೆ ನೀ ಅಂಜದಿರು; 

ಸಲಹೆಗಳ ಸುರಿಮಳೆಗೈದು 

ಗೊಂದಲದಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಸುವ ಸಮಾಜವನು ನೀ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದಿರು.

ನಿನ್ನ ಗಮ್ಯವನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲು ದೃಢ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವ ಮಾಡು, 

ನಿನ್ನ ಗೊತ್ತು-ಗುರಿಯಲಿ ನಿರಾಶೆಯಲ್ಲ, 

ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ತುಂಬಿರಲಿ.

ನಿನ್ನ ಗುರಿಯು ಬಹು ದೂರ ಕಾಣುತಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ, 

ಅದು ಕಾಣುವುದು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹತ್ತಿರ

ಕೇವಲ ಭ್ರಮೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತವಾದ ನಿನ್ನದೇ ಕನಸು.

ಆ ದಿವ್ಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಯಲಿ; 

ಆ ಪರಮಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಲವು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ತುಂಬಿರಲಿ. 

ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನ ಪಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗು ನೀ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗಿ, 

ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ಗೆಲುವು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ.
