thoughts Write-up on Current Affairs How can Ladakh be considered for statehood when the place has only two districts (Leh and Kargil), a total population of just around 3 lakh, and has strategic importance in defending Bharat from aggression?  Ladakh shares borders with China and Pakistan that have had complex relationships with India. The region's strategic importance is significant due to its location. Bharat faces complex geopolitical dynamics with Western nations the United States in particular, and its neighbour China. These countries have varying interests in India's development and growth. In fact the western nations and China never want to see Bharat as a global leader. On one hand, Western nations may view a strong Bharat as a potential challenge to their economic and strategic influence, on the other hand, Bharat's large market of over 1.45 billion people presents significant opportunities for trade and investment. Ladakh Issue The concept of the Deep State...

RAAG BHUPALI OR MOHANA

zeal for information Some songs have a profound impact on us, and our intuition compels us to listen to them again and again. The beauty of music lies in its ability to evoke emotions and create a lasting impression. We know that every song is composed based on a particular Raag. One such Raag is Raag Bhupali, known as Mohana in Carnatic music. I don't know classical music nor can differentiate the various raag but have a special fondness for songs based on this Raag Bhupali and have curated a list of some beautiful compositions. One such song is "Jindagi Dene Wale Sun," originally sung by Talat Mahmood in the 1953 film "Dil-e-Nadan," in which he starred. I'd like to share a rendition of this song by Naseem Ali Siddiqui, a talented Pakistani ghazal singer, who recorded it in September 2023. The song features poignant lyrics by Shakeel Badayuni and is a testament to the timelessness of this composition. Do listen and experience the magic of this soulful son...

GLORY AND FALL OF KANNADA CINEMA

investigation The Kannada film industry, also known as Sandalwood, has a rich history of producing captivating films that resonate with audiences. From its early days to the present, the industry has seen significant milestones that have shaped its growth and success. The transition from black and white to color, combined with the importance of a compelling story, memorable music, and skilled direction, enabled the Kannada film industry to flourish and captivate audiences.  In my opinion, I'd like to highlight the films that have significantly impacted the reach and appeal of Sandalwood (the Kannada film industry), attracting larger audiences to theaters.  However, t he deterioration in film making in Kannada was started around the mid 1990s. T he Kannada film industry lost its appeal due to producers' relentless pursuit of quick profits, marked by rushed film shoots lasting less than three months, and the trend of producers themselves starring as lead actors....

investigation athā śaradi meghānāṁ siñcitāmapi garjatāṁ |  na bhavatyambusaṅkledastathā'nāryēṣu sauhṛdaṁ || Meaning as given in RSS pamphlet In the rainy season (Mālegāladaḷḷi), the clouds rain and thunder, but when the autumn season (Śaratkāla) arrives, they do not pour enough water to soak the ground. Similarly, the friendship of wicked/evil people (duṣṭara snēhavu) gradually shrinks and wastes away.  or Though the clouds of the monsoon season may rain and thunder, they fail to shed enough water to drench the ground when the autumn season comes. Just so, the friendship of the wicked gradually fades and is lost. Let me write shloka in Sanskrit यथा  शरदि मेघानां  सिञ्चतामपि गर्जताम् ।   न भवत्यम्बुसंक्लेदस्तथा s   नार्येषु सौहृदम् ॥ Now let us breakdown the words of the shloka यथा = just like    शरदि = in autumn    मेघानां = of clouds सिञ्चतामपि = pouring (water)   गर्जताम् = thundering न भवति =  doesn't happen...

zeal for information Above is the calender of Deshbhakti Geete, Amruta Vachana, Shloka, Baudhik  and  Panchanga  for the month pertaining to September-October2025. The Deshbhakti Geete and  Panchanga  are  for the  whole period while Amruta Vachana, Shloka and Baudhik get changed every week.  The RSS conducts daily Shakha activity  typically lasting 60 to 75 minutes, for boys and young individuals. However, older people are also welcome to attend these sessions. Daily Shakha usually commences at around 5:30 pm, allowing time for the daily Prarthana (prayer) to take place at 6:25 pm or later. To accommodate the needs of working professionals and retired individuals, the RSS introduced  Milan   activity  as an alternative to daily Shakha.  Milan means 'Meeting' or 'Gathering.' This is usually referred to as the Saptāhika Milan (Weekly Meeting). The Weekly Milan is a gathering of  Swayamsevaks  that takes pl...
