ARE OUR TV CHANNELS WORTH A WATCH ?

Image
which is best channel under TV and YouTube. Answer is 👆 thoughts I never like to watch KBC or such type of episodes over Television. But today (26 Feb 2025) I stumbled upon the latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Sony TV and watched it out of curiosity. The selection process among the top 10 contestants was underway, and I was shocked to see the winner, Riya Chopda, complete the task in just 3.83 seconds. Realistically, it would take a minimum 5 seconds to read all four options and at least another 5 seconds to arrange them correctly. The second contestant took around 9.4+ seconds, which seemed more plausible.  It appears that the producers had already predetermined the winner. Interestingly, today's winner, Riya Chopda is a celebrity author with several books to her credit. Upon reviewing earlier episodes on the website, I suspect that every selection is rigged, as each chosen contestant has some unique talent or achievement. Sadly, it seems the pub...

ACCENT OF AMERICAN BORN DESI KIDS 🤔😀

Image
Adhokshaja (rightmost) with bro (leftmost) and cousins Vidushmath and Vivardhini my grandchildren thoughts Although many children of Indian descent in the US are learning to read and write Kannada, they often prefer to converse in English with everyone, including their parents. Despite efforts to speak in their mother tongue at home, parents struggle to encourage their children to respond in Kannada. Interestingly, the children understand Kannada but tend to reply in English, resisting their parents' attempts to promote their native language. The attached audio is of my grandson, Adhokshaja, a 6th-grade student in the Allen Independent School District. He's excited to participate in a Kannada drama performance at the upcoming  gathering of the Kannada Brahmana Sabha in Dallas, Texas. To start, Adhokshaja has been assigned four lines to rehearse. I'd love for you to take a listen! Nostalgia takes me back to my school days in the 1970s, when amateur drama associa...

February 9, Kolkata - B3 coach needs repair thoughts PURI AND GANGASAGAR Yatra of 9 days from Feb 7, 2025  Our return journey from a spiritual tour consisting of Puri Jagannatha and Gangasagar came to an unexpected halt at Kolkata. As news spread, fellow passengers grew restless, unaware of the gravity of the situation. During the routine inspection at Kolkata Railway Station, our bogie, B-3, was found to have a potential threat. Thanks to the vigilant inspector, the train was not cleared for departure. We owe our safe return to divine providence. Yes, it's a divine intervention. *** (following info. is received from a friend in whatsapp) Exactly 48 years ago, Donald Trump  (without knowing by himself! ) saved the Jagannath Rathayatra festival. Today, as the world celebrates the Jagannath Rathayatra festival again, Trump was attacked, and Jagannath returned the favor by saving him. In July 1976, Donald Trump helped ISKCON devotees organise Rathayatra by providing...

THE HELLO DIVIDE

Image
waiving hands thoughts The "Hello" Divide: Understanding Cultural Cues Navigating the globe reveals that even the simplest gestures, like a smile, are interpreted differently across borders. Understanding these subtle social nuances is essential for fostering meaningful cross-cultural communication. In many Western societies, particularly in the United States, acknowledging strangers with a smile, a wave, or a brief greeting is considered a standard courtesy. Whether you are strolling through a public park or passing someone on a quiet pathway, small gestures like a quick "Hello" or "Hey" serve as a common sign of friendliness and mutual respect. In contrast, some Indian families may not instinctively follow this custom. This difference often stems from cultural preferences where interacting with strangers is viewed through a lens of privacy or distinct social boundaries. Such variations highlight that comfort levels and "politeness" are not univ...

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON GOVT BUDGET AND TAXING

Image
all doubts clarified Feb 2025 thoughts We often hear taxpayers grumbling about the government. As taxpayers, they naturally earn a decent income. Later in life, they consider donating a portion of their earnings to those in need. Typically, the thought of donating occurs to people when they reach senior age. With this in mind, I'd like to share my thoughts on the annual increase in taxes: Why don't we think in this way.. For those tax payers unwilling to help the needy specially destitute, God devised a plan.  ..👇👇 A clever twist of fate!   Enter taxes!  As the saying goes, 'God is invincible, but He needs someone to collect taxes.' And so, the Government took on this role. However, when corruption crept in and officials lined their own pockets, God intervened again.  Since 2014, a new leader has taken the reins, ensuring a larger share of resources reaches those who need it most. So, let's be grateful! At least now, a significant portion of taxe...

Abhirama and team moved to world competition level to be held in May 2025 zeal for informaton Robotics is a highly regarded field that helps students develop valuable skills, and it's widely encouraged in schools across the USA. As a popular extracurricular activity, robotics programs provide students with hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills. FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), is a robotics competition for students in grades 7–12 to compete head to head, by designing, building, and programming a robot to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Teams can consist of students from schools, community organizations, or homeschooling groups, providing a unique opportunity for students to collaborate, innovate, and develop valuable STEM skills.
